The final work of the fifteen-storey-high main drum-tower was carried out
in Zhijiang Dong Nationality Autonomous County in Huanan province in
July. After world's largest wind and rain shelter was built, the
drum-tower cluster of Dong nationality will soon be completed in the same
county. The drum-tower cluster composed of a 21-meter-high main
drum-tower and four small drum-towers and will be the largest and highest
one in the world. Drum-tower is a unique building style of Dong
nationality and in the shape of a wood pagoda. Without a single nail or
rivet, the tower could normally be three-to-ten-storey high.
