Navy exercises on East China Sea

www.chinanews.cn 2006-02-27 18:04:25

The Chinese Navy organized a squad composed of frigates, mine sweepers
and submarine chasers to conduct the exercises for key items, such as
berthing vessels with and without an anchor, chasing submarines at sea
and arranging teams to navigate in narrow watercourses in a certain
region of the East China Sea, on Feb. 23. The inspecting and guiding team
consisting of four units carried out complete supervision on the
exercises, in an effort to avoid favoritism and ignorance of training and
ensure that the exercises imitate the real battle and cultivate qualified
soldiers.
