The fifth Asia Pacific Cities Summit opened Wednesday morning in
Chongqing, China's youngest municipality in southwest China.

CHONGQING, Oct. 12 - The fifth Asia Pacific Cities Summit opened
Wednesday morning in Chongqing, China's youngest municipality in
southwest China.
China's vice-premier Huang Ju joined other 1,000 guests from 124
Asia-Pacific cities at the opening ceremony.
During the three-day summit, the first of its kind ever held in China and
Asia as well, mayors, CEOs and scholars will have fact-to-face dialogues
and discussion on the relationship between the human being and the nature.
