"King of crystal"

On Oct. 1, Chinese and foreign visitors were appreciating the "king of
crystal" at the crystal market of Jiangsu's Donghai County. The 8th China
Donghai Crystal Festival displayed the "king of crystal" which had been
buried deep underground for billions of years and excavated in Niushan
Town of the county on Jan. 15, 1995. According to expert appraisal, the
"king of crystal" weighs 1.99 tons and is quite a rarity for its superb
quality and transparency.
