1,000 people enjoyed Sichuan Food

You'ai Village of Pi County in Chengdu, the branch exhibition site of
2005 International Foods & Tour Festival of China, put on a great show of
"Jiu Dou Bowl"(Nine dishes of traditional cuisine in rural families in
west Sichuan including hoecake, steamed meat, etc.), which was a big
folkloric dinner with 1,000 people at 100 tables in west Sichuan. It
enjoys a good reputation among traditional Sichuan food. Eight-meter tall
steam boxes, outdoor hearths as well as extra-sized woks were set up in
the festival, creating joyful atmosphere of folk customs where people
could eat and drink to their hearts' content with ease and vigor.
