During the golden week of the National Day holiday, sightseeing at the
banks of Suzhou's ancient Shantang River became a good choice for Chinese
and foreign tourists. While traveling in a leisurely way, tourists could
appreciate picturesque scenery of "Venice in the East." Pictured: On the
afternoon of Oct. 5th, tourists were enjoying scenery of the ancient
Shantang River on sightseeing boats.
During the golden week of the National Day holiday, renovated Shantang
Street in Suzhou City held multifarious traditional folk art
performances, drawing attention of many tourists.
