(China Daily)
Updated: 2007-07-26 09:22
A dog in Dalian, Liaoning, was faithful even after death to its master,
jumping into a river near the tomb and committing suicide.
The dog was the man's loyal companion for 18 years. The man, surnamed
Bai, died at the age of 77. After Bai's death, the dog refused to eat,
staying in the old man's room.
Seeing its sorrow, one of the man's daughters took the dog to visit her
father's tomb one day last week. After walking around its master's tomb
several times, the dog jumped into a river, vanishing, and presumed dead.
